This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
